Message from the President:

The Always Elvis Fan Club Showroom opened for the first time on October 16, 2011. The showroom is dedicated to our friend David Jancovic who passed away one year ago on October 16, 2010. Dave was not only an honorable member of the AEFC he was a friend. Dave's dedication to the club over many years will always be remembered but surely missed.

Shortly after David passed away I began to listen to some of his recording that he had completed and even some in my home. David had his recording equipment in the basement of my home and we joked around about it being the jungle room sessions. He recorded several songs one of his choosing was "Mr. Songman" which truly depicts what David was.

During an alternate session he recorded (Your So Square) Baby I Don't Care one of his favorites. In listening to this recording compared to Elvis' I began hearing in my head what David and Elvis might be doing in heaven - singing a duet. So I took both recordings and essentially mixed Davy J and Elvis doing a duet of "Baby I Don't Care". While doing this mixing and recording I had only wished David could hear the final outcome. Then I thought he is singing with Elvis now so I am sure they can hear it.

I also created a mix of Davy J and Elvis doing "Mr. Songman" and with both tracks I have dubbed them the "Heavenly Duets". For the first time friend and fans of both David and Elvis can hear these tracks. These songs are only meant as a memorial to our friend and are not intended for distribution of any kind.
