Always Elvis Top 10 Concert Song List Released

Top 10 Elvis Concert Songs
(Elvis Never Recorded In The Studio)

The Always Elvis Fan Club has released its Top 10 Concert Songs based on feedback provided by club members. This special concert list of songs were ones Elvis performed on stage but never recorded in a studio environment.  Similar to our previous Top 40 Singles list we bring your these concerts songs with information about the songwriters, audio and video from the original performers and of course Elvis' versions.  We wanted to make this list more than just which ones Elvis fans thought were the best but also provide an opportunity to learn about the songs itself.

Members were asked to go to an online survey and select their personal Top 10 songs from the list. All the lists were tabulated to come up with an overall Top 10 list. Looking at the songs in the Top 10 it is a very solid list but which song just didn't make the cut. What song was #11?

#11 was a song originally written and recorded by Jimmy Reed on August 7th, 1959 on Vee Jay Records.  The song went to #10 in the Billboard R&B Charts and #37 on the Billboard Top 100.  The song "Baby What You Want Me To Do" was first performed on the NBC TV Special "Elvis" and later used during his Las Vegas performances at the International Hotel in 1969. Below is the original version recording by Jimmy Reed with one of the versions Elvis recorded for the NBC TV Special.

A great tune for sure but not good enough to be in the Top 10 according to the Always Elvis experts.  To hear, see and learn about the Top 10 Concert Songs click the button below.
