The fan club based out of Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania is located approximately an hour north driving distance from Philadelphia, PA. Although events and gatherings of Elvis fans still occur locally the fan club has utilized its online presence to have members from around the world. We are able to offer Elvis fans an opportunity to be a part of the Always Elvis Fan Club via our website and also enjoy Elvis through our social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
The goal of the club is bring Elvis to fans worldwide while supporting local and national charities in Elvis Presley’s name. The club is a non profit organization with all non expenditure funding going to charities. To support the club Elvis fans can join ‘Always Elvis Pure Gold’ on an annual basis for only $9 to receive some additional benefits which will assist the club to continue to bring Elvis to fans through our website and other media platforms. More importantly it will allow us to provide to our charities including Dream Come True of the Lehigh Valley, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation.
Elvis Presley Enterprises — The club has been registered as an official Elvis Presley Fan Club since 1990.
Bob Klein Media — The clubs long standing member and partnership with Bob Klein has allowed the club access to one of the most extensive photo collections outside of Graceland. Bob Klein has one of the largest Elvis photo collections in the world with photos from his collection being utilized in Elvis Presley recording projects with RCA/Sony and other media platforms.
Dream Come True of the Lehigh Valley — Dream Come True’s mission is to promote and enrich the lives of children who are seriously, chronically or terminally ill. They offer children with life threatening illnesses the chance to hope, dream and live their fantasies. The charity is the primary local entity in which the fan club supports.
The fan club based was originally formed in 1990 by several area Elvis Presley fans. After an initial membership campaign at a local shopping mall the club founders soon realized that their admiration of Elvis was felt by many others in the area. The growing membership gathered for meetings, dinners, and tribute night with proceeds from these events benefiting local and national charities.
The fan club held concerts and conventions which included a highlight event including Elvis’ original back up vocal group the Jordanaires. The Jordanaires backed up Elvis soundalike ‘Orion’ (Jimmy Ellis) in the evening concert after an earlier press conference with club members and fans.
The club has attended Elvis Week many times in Elvis’ home town of Memphis, TN visiting his home Graceland. The club also had the opportunity to be featured on MSNBC during Elvis Week as the broadcast followed the club in Memphis giving a fan perspective of their experiences as they visited Graceland, Sun Studio, Elvis Birthplace in Tupelo and other Elvis related locations.
