Elvis ‘Just Pretend’ Concert Tour Poster
Back when Elvis toured in the 70's performers never named the 'tours' like they do today. So we though we would 'just pretend' and create a concert tour poster and name it based on a record release of that time period.
In 1971 Elvis performed in Las Vegas for two concert seasons as well as, for the first time, Lake Tahoe in August. After those residencies Elvis eventually went on tour in November 1971 with 14 shows in 12 nights. We took the actual tour dates and created this poster.
So imagine listening to the radio or watching television in late 1971 and hearing the announcement of the 'Elvis: Love Letters Tour'! Then going to a record store and seeing this poster!
