Las Vegas Westgate Hotel Utilizes Fan Club Video In Elvis Displays
The Las Vegas Westgate Hotel and Casino, formerly the Las Vegas International Hilton Hotel has an upcoming event to recreate the 1969 Las Vegas return of Elvis to the concert stage. July 31 they will create the opening night concert and the hotel has special guest and themed events to commemorate the historic event.
In addition the hotel has memorabilia displays throughout the hotel lobby area that also include video monitors displaying a video created by the Always Elvis Fan Club. The video ‘Elvis - The Las Vegas International Hotel’ follows the journey of Elvis return to the concert stage along with the historic construction of the Las Vegas International Hotel by Kirk Kerkorian. The episode timeline begins in 1967 as Elvis is still completing movies with the aspiration to return to the concert stage ad Kerkorian has purchased land of the strip to build the first mega resort. By 1969 the hotel construction is completed and Elvis finished his movie contracts and is set to return to the concert stage. Both the hotel and Elvis would transform Las Vegas from that point forward.
The video was created of course based on our admiration for Elvis Presley but also a long time connection with the hotel with club members attending those concerts and visiting the hotel for the many decades thereafter.
We are glad the initial video project has reached so many and continues to do so in the historic location where it all began.

The video now almost reaching 3 million views on YouTube will also be viewed by the many patrons and Elvis fans that visit the historic hotel.
